this is a large vase that i made on monday. its on the bisque shelf now. it has a really wide top and a really small base, which was my goal.

this is my first plate. but it is more like a platter, but it does have a foot ring and qualifies as a plate. it is about 14 inches wide and about 3 inches tall. the glazes used on this project are shadow green black and turqoise. the glaze didnt come out quite as vibrant as i wanted them too, but i suppose the overall project isnt terrible. but ya this is my first plate and generally i am pretty happy about it because it makes such a nice center piece.

In a quareter review blog please respond to this …

Please describe your efforts towards participation and leadership. Did you take care to clean well? Mention if you were attentive at the beginning of class every day.

How often do you use the pass?  Are you on task every day and all period? How social are you versus how much work do you do? How closely do you meet assignment deadlines?

this is my choice project, it is a bowl but it is pretty big too. there is not much more to it than its average shape and size. glazes used were all shadow green. i like tis project because on the bottome of it is almost like a dark green mirror. very appealing to my eye. but ya this is my choice project, very plain and simple i think.

this is my wheel altered project. this project was designed to be a type of gourd but i folded it down instead and made this chicken looking project. The glazes used were only yellow. i really like this project because it is small and also very presentable on a window sill or table. overall a great project that also has a little bit of comedy.

this is my second plate, currently it is in the bisk, but it has come out today (friday). there is not too much to say because it has not yet come out as a finished project..

this is me trying to save the project i made today, but it fell apart

this project is my wide project it has a nice shape and a decent body volume. the glaze is 100 percent shadow green. some things i like on this part is the wide base and how in the middle of the project the walls go up vertically and then has no lip on the top. overall i think this is a decent project tht could use a little bit more of the word "wide" in it.. ya.

this is my tall project, it wasnt exactly easy to make.. the sides kept on falling down and hitting the other bottom part as it went down, at that point i stopped using water and got everything dry. glazes used on this project were clear and shadow gree, personally is a nice project, thonly thing not to nice on it is the bottom. it got uneven and the footing went wrong.

these are my 2 siliar projects, i think one thing that they all have in common is the fact that they all have the same glaze and demonstrate some type of physical symmetry. the glazes i used were clear, black and shadow green, i do not know how my projects came out the color that they did, but anyways i am proud of them. thevibe that i beleive they put out isnt exactly bright but rather dull and casual. sort of the mood i was trying to portray.
